Default 940/740/760 diesel battery clip and pin

Hi I need the clip and pin that keeps the battery in place for a d24 diesel volvo.

Do you mean the threaded rod and bracket that clamps the battery down onto the tray? If so, diesel is the same as any 700/900.

8v, 16v, d24, whiteblock, they're all the same. Even the white battery tray thing.

I would suggest you don't know what you're taking about. I said I've tried a petrol one and it doesn't fit so they can't be all the same.
If the battery tray - white plastic tray was the same too why is the metal battery tray part at an angle so longer bigger capacity batteries can be fitted than the petrol ones.

I'm only going off the parts catalogue.

Oh hang on, yours is one of those very early 700s isn't it? With the different strut towers etc? So it's possible they did some weird crap with the battery tray.

it's possible ! The pin is m6 I think and mine needs an m8 bolt.
