Wanted 960 Steering Box

Wanted1993 Volvo 960 Estate has failed its mot due to a crack on the steering box where it is fitted to the chassis.
I have had the car for over 20 years and it (apart from this problem) is in fantastic condition inside and out. As I am 84 years old this will be my last car and I do not want it to be scrapped.
I have spoken to John Neilson who looks after the 700/900 cars and he has been very helpful. I have a Volvo trained mec who will fit the replacement part but I am not in a position to remove a steering assy from a donor car.I am prepared to pay a good price for this part and travel any distance to collect it.

I've got a spare steering rack from a 960 somewhere. It may take a while to find it but I'll let you know by e-mail.
