All,

I'm selling our V70 T5 Geartronic as we now require a 7 seater for our expanding family. I bought this car from this very website and the car has clearly been very well looked after during its life. I will leave the ad on here for a few days before sticking it on ebay. I'd like it to go to a good home.

Car has done 117k miles (although in daily use).
12 Month MOT (done this week). At the same time as the MOT, new genuine Volvo front pads were also fitted.
Just serviced including new platinum plugs.

The gearbox has recently (circa 2k miles ago) been fully reconditioned by a gearbox specialist at a cost of £1600 and comes with a 12 month warranty from when the work was carried out. Basically the 'box can be near guaranteed to last the rest of the vehicles life. As far as I'm concerned this alone makes the car great value and a lower risk purchase than many other similar V70s.

The car has almost everything volvo could have fitted including:

Factory Satnav+TV+Phone (inc 2008 maps)

The car was converted to LPG at 78k (at a cost of £2200) and obviously has a certificate for the conversion.

The car comes with a huge service file. Summary of the key points are:

Cambelt+Tensioner next due at 160k
Pollen Filter (just done)
Spark Plugs (just done)
Air Filter (just done)
Radiator
Throttle Body Replaced @ 90k (ETM, very common fault)
Alternator
Air-con professionally re-gased.

Has been serviced in line with schedules using fully synthetic oil etc.

Great condition and performance whilst achieving good economy (equivalent to running a diesel). Pre-2001 road tax (means £200/yr, not CO rated).

Bad points - rear spoiler needs a quick respray as paint fading (local bodyshop said £70 to the previous owner but I've not personally had a quote), alloys not in A1 condition but still reasonable (as you can see from the photos). Slight mark on bonnet but touched in and there are insignificant scratches that you'd expect for a car of this age.
