Hi,
I would inspect throttle first, to make sure it is not dirty or stuck. Easy and costs nothing. Well, maybe £5 can of carb cleaner. As for shaking - it again may be related to throttle, rough or erratic idle can cause that, multiplied quite possibly by effect of worn out engine mount. I had it in my car, now it is all nice and smooth. That said, nothing beats checking the car with Vida first... Hope this helps. |

Here's the guide written by forum member:
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=277255 There are also gazilion tutorials on youtube. Ford Focus Mk2 petrol uses the same engine, so worth looking for them also. |
