I have to replace the windshield washer reservoir on my 2003 V40 and it doesn't look like fun Has anyone attempt it?

I haven't done one on the V40 but i have done on a 7 series BMW and it was fairly easy if a little messy because you need to remove the inner wing cowling to gain access. I also did one on a Mondeo ST220 and that was a right pig of a job that i never want to do again.

Looking at it, you will have to remove the tray underneath the car, the front wheel and wheel arch as a minimum, access to it would greatly be improved if you could drop the front bumper off too!
Had to replace a pump before on it, wasn't too bad

Default fitting washer pump

you only need to remove the front section of the plastic engine undertray only, according to the workshop manual.
