URGENT need a single 17" Thor wheel. - Page 2

I would give it a try. I have looked this morning and suspect the full size wheel may fit in thete. But I wasn't going to get oily and check it. Sorry!

Anyway, I no longer need a spare Thor alloy. I have sourced a full set of Tethys (S60 wheel) and actually have 3 Thor wheels to sell. I will put on here once I have swapped them over.

Sorry if this seems obvious, but my last few car's spares have been fullsized, and the wheel well in the boot of the S60 does look like it's take a larger wheel.

I have a 17" Amalthea Volvo Alloy Wheel which I bought as a full sized spare when I had a V70, it fitted in the spare wheel well, but had to remove the under floor tray and maybe the form blocks in the well to fit it in, but it did fit.

I still have the Alloy in the shed, its band new with new tyre...maybe I should sell it....

If anyone with an S60 and 17" Thors can check whether it fits without problems with everything fitting together on top afterwards, I'd be grateful

And then if it does, I'd probably buy one of those 3x spares you're going to have...

I will check tomorrow. The new wheels are going on so I will stick a Thor in there and see. Out of interest, I have 225 45 tyres on the car but the S60 wheels I have bought (still 17") have 225 50 tyres on them. Is that right? The S60 runs on different profile tyres? 225 50 17s are not listed on the chart inside the fuel filler flap on my V70.

I tried a 225 50 17 tyre in the spare wheel well today, minus a wheell. It is snug but still just goes in. The boards fit over the top OK. A 225 45 17 should go in that bit more easily.

Thank you, but no. I went for a set of Tethys in the end. Got 3 Thors to get rid of now, instead of wanting just 1!!
