Premium door speakers - Page 2

yeah different door cards but most S60s had these style of door cards as standard so I'll was just going to pick some up from a local breakers or eBay.

Our SE models would have had the Hi-Performance 200watt system as standard, the 300w premium set up was an option until the SE LUX came in which had it as standard.

I've heard the sub makes a good improvement, would you recommend? its about £100 or so isn't it?

If you can find one - I got one for £110 on eBay but I was lucky that no one else was bidding that day. I definitely recommend it - the lack of bass is the main problem with the hi-perf system in my view. Also, playing a decent source through the system makes a hell of a difference - a Grom with large MP3 files on a USB stick does the job.

I suppose the other option is to fit alternative speakers.

They are the premium speakers yes..If you want I will post a picture of the actual items?

out of curiosity, why do you have these as spares?!

I came across 2 sets in a breakers(which I bought both sets) fitting one set to my V70 and kept these just in case..

Yes I have the 300w amp and sub in the boot..I also got Volvo to download the premium software..

I have a full Dolby system from a V70 R awd 2005 model.

All being well I've now sorted the speakers.

If you have the amp though that would be useful
