C30 1.6D Cambelt Change
Car has done less than 40K but will be 10 years old in March, no evidence of cambelt being changed, tried to searched but not come across a Howto, does anyone know of one or got the process, would prefer to do it myself, but if it;s a barstool will farm it out.

It's not too difficult for a DIY.
The 1.6D engine is the same as used on many other cars. It's a Citroen engine as used on the Berlingo & Peugeot Partner. Also used on Ford, Mini, Mazda to name a few. The engine will be 16V (earlier) or 8V (from approx 2011), if yours is 10yrs old, it'll almost certainly be 16v. If you look for Berlingo 1.6 cambelt change, you should find what you need to decide if you want to DIY. Kits are available online, I just bought one via eBay from Car Parts in Motion. There was a 15% discount earlier this week (SOLAR15), not sure if it's still there. |

Thank you for that, it is the 16V I'll have a look online, if it's the PSA engine then they are normally straight forward.
