Retro fit pilot assist to V60 2019?

Hello,

I am considering buying a used V60 - the car in question has Got Lane assist, but not pilot assist.. Is it possible to retrofit the latter at a reasonable cost?

Pilot Assist cannot be retrofitted as a standalone option but it can be retrofitted as part of the Intellisafe Assist pack. Along with Pilot Assist you also get Adaptive Cruise Control and Distance Alert.

Cost is listed by Volvo as £1085.

The strange thing is, that the car in question has got adaptive cruise control and lane assist. But not Pilot Assist. Question is if it is only a software thing that give access to the Pilot Assist functions?

Lane Keeping Aid was standard on MY19 V60s.

Adaptive Cruise Control however was not available as a separate option but only as part of the IntelliSafe Pro Pack...which includes Pilot Assist.

So, if the car has Adaptive Cruise Control then it will already have Pilot Assist and you won't need to retrofit anything.

This is assuming the used car listing is correct - it's fairly common for listings to be inconsistent and sometimes plain wrong. The only way to definitively check a car's specification is to ask a Volvo dealer whom will be able to confirm the spec.
