It was £511, same price as the ME7 petrol cars....

Current MTE prices.
The basic cost of an MTE software upgrade is £400 to include installation and VAT.
I can do the upgrade pretty much anytime by appointment in North West London, weekends included. If it is difficult for you to make the journey you can install the software yourself as I can loan you the MTE softloader for that purpose. You can check how that is done with a laptop connection to your car's OBD socket on the website of MTE's US distributor www.ipdusa.com If you find the ownership of that softloader usefull it costs £135 and you can additionally buy the diagnostic and data logging software for an additional £70.
