Default 850R Manual

Hi Jim, as per the many that have come before me I am looking to get my injectors cleaned on my manual 850R. Can you please advise me which address I need to send them to? I appreciate that these will need to be carefully packaged and sent recorded delivery.

Kind regards, Adrian.

Default Injectors..

Hi Jim
I'm next on the list I think to have my injectors done. Mine's a 1998 V70 non-turbo 20v, B5254S engine. Its currently on 197,000 miles and I've owned it since 127,000 (6 years). Reading all these posts I'm ashamed of myself for not touching the injectors in this time! I converted my car to LPG 4 years ago also so understandably this hasn't helped the petrol injectors either.

By way of symptoms the car hesitates occasionally when cold (on petrol) and when warm I've had the engine management light illuminate. The fault code that is being produced is this one http://www.obd-codes.com/p0172 "Powertrain: Fuel Trim System Rich Bank 1". I initially suspected either a faulty MAF or Lambda sensor, but now I'm thinking the injectors are the likely culprit. Can you PM me details of your address etc.? and do you have the type for my engine in stock?

Cheers,
Chris

Default Fuel injectors - getting them out of the engine!

Hi Jimathan,

I've got a w reg s40 t4 idling roughly. New plugs, replacement coil packs, no change. Is it likely that cleaning injectors will help? Is so, how do I get them out, feels like they are glued in!

Thanks,

Pat

I've got symptoms very similar to those described on page 8 so would be interested in this too.

The car is an 850 T5R, don't think the injectors are any different to the regular T5 of the same vintage though.

Thanks!

Hi everyone.
Due to a recent bereavement this service is no longer available. Sorry to disappoint.
Jim
