V50 General : - Resetting Service Ovedue Message

I have a V50, registered June 2010, it has been serviced by a local garage but they have been so far unable to reset the 'Service Overdue' message on the indication panel. Can anyone give me information on how to do this.

Have you tried using the odo meter button:

1/ Ign Off
2/ Press and hold odo reset button
3/ Turn Ign On
4/ After 30 seconds service flashing, release Odo reset button
5/ Turn Ign off

This works on a number of Volvos, not too sure about the V50 though - Mike
