C30 DRIVe oil leak
Hi, all
I have owned my C30 for just-over five weeks, and I've just discovered an oil leak. The car has done 83,000 miles. I have read different things about these engines - but, I thought they had good reliability! The leak appears to be coming from the plastic part above the turbo intercooler pipe - I'm not sure what this part is called, or what function it serves - but, I had to take a picture of the part number on the side of the pipe to even find out what the pipe is called! The only part number I can see on the part where the leak actually appears to be coming from is something like '16M9 0159'. I've ran this through the internet, and can't find anything. The intercooler pipe part number shows up straight away, though - but it's the bit above this that is leaking. The only other way I can describe it is, it's just behind, and slightly to the lower left of, the dipstick. Sorry I can't be more descriptive - but, does anyone have any ideas, please? I have yet to find a way to upload a picture, due to size restrictions on the forum! Thanks in advance Oli |

The actual engine type is the key bit of info required

Ahh, sorry - it's the DLD-416 (I think): 1.6 diesel, stop-start, the one with 16 valves. Apparently they can be plagued with turbo issues - but I'm hoping it's not that. I just need to ascertain what the intercooler pipe connects to at the top of the engine (not the intercooler bit). It seems that the leak is coming from just above the join.
