Dpf?

A silly question I am sure, but how would I know if my early 2009 Volvo c70 2.0 diesel is fitted with a DPF?

It probably does but you can double check by getting the VIN number, don't post it on here. It's the 5th or 4th digit (I think, let me check) that you'll need to identify whether or not it does or does not have a DPF.

early 2009 is unlikely to mine is early 09 and it does not although it is a a C30.

8th digit not 5th, if the 8th digit is a 3 then no DPF,4 it might, 5 yes (jaygee you were sort of right just got your figures confused).

check the rear beam for a small tank if there is a metal weight or nothing or you only have one pipe on the throttle body at the top of the engine you do not have a DPF.

if you have a small tank then you do and if you have a double throttle body pipe you are likely to have one there are a number of clues as to it.

Hi I have a March 2009 C70 and it has a DPF fitten as I have been in limp mode due to a faulty DPF Sensor.
