v50 air intake location
hi, i am new to this forum and new to volvo ownership. have just bought a 56 reg v50 se diesel. was wondering if anyone knows where the air intake is located. only want to know so i dont suck a load of water into the engine by going through a puddle ( as in a mondeo diesel) any advice will be gratefully recieved

behind the top grill so there is 0% chance of doing that unless you submerge your car

Thanks. only asked 'cos son has a mondeo diesel that he took through puddle only to discover air intake is very, very low down on his car, dont want same thing to happen to me

also watch out for ecu ,behind nsf wing just infront of nsf wheel quite low down
