Default Pollen Filters on New s40`s

Has any one replaced a pollen filter on the new S40,

Removal of Ecu
Glove box
I had cuts all up my arm

Who ever thought of that idea should be shot

And does any one know an easier way

Hi
i have chaned a few and found you can change them with out removing the glove box,always best to disconnect the battery before disconnecting the CEM unit keeping an eye on all the connectors you can loose them down the back of the carpet!you all so have to make sure all the connectors are on correctly as this will cause some function not to work! yes they really are a bad idea as is 05MY S60/V70 head lamp bulb relacement ie remove front bumper and paying for your car to be connected to VIDA every time you take it in because the seat belt clasp wont go in at £45 a pop its getting out of hand.

Yeah there a nice job or right, could be worse at least there not lefthand drive where you have to take the pedals out to do it

yea at my work experience i had to change one today! was well annoying had to take out ecu etc took 10/15 mins

you volvo techs dont know how easy you have it ,aa driving school dont use 40's/50's but do use focus,(same car,filter same place),imagine trying to get round duel controls before you take out the gem module etc .lol.volvo easy
