Im very tempted to take the T5 version out, see how it compares to my CTR that i had

Default CAR test of C30.

This month's CAR has a pretty good review of the C30.

Making the point that the lesser powered models are quite well priced, but they are really gouging us with the 'T5' and don't forget it is T5 lite, not the full monty T5 as we know it in the S60/V70.

And, would you really want to pay such a premium for the Volvo badge and specs over the better priced Focus ST, which will certainly cost less to service at a Ford dealer and may very well depreciate less.

Yes - the image of the Focus ST is all wrong.....

...plus I'd go for the D5 manual (mid '07) and have it remapped, and I can't see Ford bringing out a Focus STD.
