Default S60 2008 PHM Phone removal?

I want to replace the PHM phone module in my S60 as it does not work. I have another one, which is working that I'd like to swap over.

My problem is, how do I remove the module?

I can remove the main console which exposes the PHM module but I cant remove it from the main console.

Can you help please?

Thank you.

Default Help please - removing Integrated phone S60

Can someone help please?

I'm having trouble removing the integrated phone from my S60 2008 (185bhp). I can get the main console panel out to reveal the phone module which appears to be only held in place by two mega strong push in spring loaded fasteners, (one either side), see photo - then the module should push through from the rear - or so it seems!

I have disconnected the 3 plugs on the rear and connected them to a replacement module which works perfectly, it's just so damn frustrating that I can't get the old one out!!

Can anyone reveal the secret - OR I'm even prepared to pay someone to do it for me, I dont mind travelling, within reason. I'm near Lincoln.

Hi Marty,

You've posted this in a sales thread which is probably why no one has replied.

You might also be in the wrong area for the age of your car.

I can't mate, I don't have those moderator super powers. I just didn't want you to think everyone was ignoring you. Glad you got it sorted.
