The 850R/V70R/S70Rs manuals don't have a limited slip diff, they have a viscous coupling.

In the buyers guide it says "850 R estate and saloon (circa 1996 - 1997), only model to feature an LSD"

No its the black saloon on pistonheads half way down the page.

Im afraid £3800 is out of my budget for a t5r. Looking to pay around £3k when I see the right one.

Even with the extra weight and transmission loss, I would prefer the handling advantage than speed.

Parkers states 0-60 is 7.1 seconds, is this incorrect?

850 T5 has 225 bhp does 0-60 in 7.1.
850 T-5R has 240 bhp does 0-60 in 6.7.
850R has 250 bhp and does 0-60 between 6.4 and 6.7 depending on source.

The V70R classic AWD does 0-60 in 8.1 maybe because its heavier?
