Question Ignition key Light bulb?

Well this time, no amount of jiggling did the trick so I was stuck taking the cowls offs, drilling out the ignition module and replacing it.

What I've now noticed after having replaced the module is that the signal indicator stalk, plastic cowls and related items no longer move around like they used to. Not sure why but man I'm loving this new feeling that nothing is moving around anymore.
I'm a newbie to Volvo as I just got an 03 S40 with 185K and loving it! IN a closely related topic, my ignition assembly has no light so its quite difficult to find the keyhole at night. Has anyone located and replaced the light bulb before? Thanks in advance.
