XC90 Trailer Module
Having taken half my car apart to connect up an original Volvo Towing electrics harness, I don't appear to have/find the Trailer Module (TRM), it certainly isn't where the instructions say it is. Is it possible that my car (2007) doesn't have one fitted and if so is it something that can be retro fitted.

If the XC90 is the same as the V70 & XC70 then a 2007 car will not have the trailer module fitted as standard, the official Volvo wiring kit will have a harness to go between the REM and the trailer module , the trailer module it's self and a hardness to go between the trailer module and the towing socket.
Only the earlier cars up to 2004 had the trailer module fitted as standard and only required the wiring harness extension to be fitted that linked the harness in the back of the car to the towing socket. |
