Mobil 3309 would be a good choice.

This is a good, synthetic, JWS3309 (inc Volvo) compatible ATF :

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carlube-A...e/123126634238

I don't know what car you're putting it in or the mileage, but if it's a high mileage (100k+) car, i wouldn't recommend a "flushing change", better to do 3 or 4 part-changes/sump-dumps where you simply drain the sump and refill to the correct level with new fluid. Do them about a month apart then once a year to maintain the oil.

Dirty/old/contaminated/over-heated ATF is the biggest killer of auto boxes. Chaning old, thin oil on a flushing change on an older box will result in all the new, thicker fluid going straight in in one go which can result in seals being blown.

Changing it gradually by the part-change method introduces it slowly, giving the "seal-swell" time to revive the oil seals and get them flexible again meaning there is less chance of popping a seal due to changing the fluid.

Note that the ATF-U i suggest is backwards compatible with Dexron II-D which is probably what's in your car if it's an older model so mixes with mineral and synthetic. As such it should also mix with any JWS3309 that's in there if it's a newer model.

There are many choices if you google ebay - for example:

Last time I bought 20 liters from Germany, less than £60 delivered.

Search for Mannol..

Here's a British company, well regarded:

I think what he means is this :

https://www.smithandallan.com/produc...mission-fluid/

Most of S&As products are very good, only one that isn't quite as good is their Honda Z-1 compatible fluid as far as i know - still a good ATF but doesn't give quite such a long service life according to tests carried out by a friend.

Heard many good reports on their 3309 stuff though.
