Volvo S40 2007 2.0D SE *For Sale* FSH

Hi guys,

Well, the time has come for me to reluctantly sell my beloved Volvo S40 SE 2.0D, which I have owned for the past three years. Of which I have enjoyed every minute of owning it.

I bought the car back in October 2010 with 60,000 miles on the clock and have used the car primarily for commuting to and from work ever since, having never skipped a beat. Fortunately for me I have now been promoted in work and given a company car, which forces the sale. The car has now covered 97,400 miles.

In just under the three years of ownership I have meticulously maintained the car regardless of cost, taking it always to MRG Volvo in Chippenham for work. Whom have really looked after me and if I were to own another Volvo at some point in my life I wouldn't hesitate in going back to them. - The car has had full Volvo main dealer service history from new.

The previous owner was an employee for IBM, who had the car as his company vehicle which primarily covered motorway mileage. All work undertaken when he was the owner was done at Cambridge Garage down Portsmouth way.

To give you an idea of how looked after this car has been in my ownership the following work has been undertaken on the car:

- 72,467 miles it was serviced on 04/10/11 incl. 4 wheel geometry check at a cost of £316.63
- 84,392 miles it was serviced on 26/07/12 at a cost of £226.20
- on 22/11/12 I had the faulty indicator stalk replaced at a cost of £80.94 This was done at Ray Chapman Volvo in York (was visiting family at the time)
- on 03/04/13 I had the fuel tank removed and the sender unit replaced as it was incorrectly recording fuel readings. This was done at a significant cost of £567.79
- on 06/06/13 I had the car serviced at 95,401 miles. I also had the steering column stripped out and replaced as the lock wasn't working and causing me issues. The cost of this was £430.27

Tyres are in good condition. Roughly 5mm all round with Pirelli P7's and Falken FK452's only ever fitted to the car.

The car now wants for nothing. It was MOT'd on 10/07/13 and won't need a service until 112k miles. It has been regularly cleaned, polished and waxed using Autoglym products and comes with all receipts for work undertaken, both from its previous owner and myself. (2 owners from new incl me)

It is taxed until the end of September, but will re-tax for 6 months if the price is right. It is HPI clear, has no finance owed on it and have just retained my private registration from the car. Reg is now HT07GDY. Ideally looking for £5,250 ono
