Default new volvo XC60 MY12

I have information from a dealer that from May 2012 there will be available new model XC60 MY12, but there is no info about any change from previous MY11.
Maybe someone has more info about this or in the future will have?
I am curious if there will be a small facelifting in exterior view (interior was this year - new center stack).
Usualy after 3 years on the market it is time for a facelifting.

A couple of MY12 hopeful changes on my wish list:
- Relocate or alter electric Power Steering Unit to allow return of foglights
- Allow Subwoofer as an option on US models
- ...let's keep the wish list going...add your additions here...

Searching the Internet I found this:
New Volvo MY starts every year the first week of April in EU. But this year in May.
The first week of October are the release of smaller adjustments. They are sometimes called MYxx.5.
Still not confirmed info about changes, only this from other forum:
Quote:
The major change for MY 2012, as far as I know, is the sport mode in the Geartronic transmission. I have sampled this feature in the 2012 S60 and found it very worthwhile.
I would think it would be well worth the wait.
Get information from the dealer that only R-design model will have some changes (probably exterior), but nothing for sure.

Have somebody more info?

If it's the same as S on my jag it holds the gears a bit longer under acceleration and revs a bit higher for any given speed. Just less "relaxed" gearing. I hardly ever use it on my current car unless I'm really wanting to press on and get past a line of traffic and need to take my opportunity. For which read "every time I drive along the A65 between here and the Lakes"...

I've been driving by Merc in "S" permanently for the last 3 years. The only exception was in the snow.

In the Merc, it is a switch on the dash that remained engaged in "S" or "C" (comfort), so no need to keep setting the mode ..

The difference was small but worth it - slightly more eager down-shifts when accelerating.

Hopefully the XC60 will be more eager in general, and the "S" can be reserved for special occasions. Six more weeks or so, and I can find out...

i normally drive in d, but stuck the lever over to manual today (not the same as s). the car was so much more responsive under acceleration. also if you forget to change up or down, the car does it for you - only changes up at red line though. unfortunately, the shift is counter-intuitive i.e. pull to change down and push forward to change up, but easy to get used to.

i get my 4 month check soon so will be asking about the s software upgrade - mine's a MY10, so theoretcially it should be available.
