Local TV? We don't have any?! I was at the cruise (walked down though didn't fancy the usual grilling) I saw who I thought was Phil and after chasing after him soon realised it wasn't (but managed to scare the poor chap half to death) and a 50ish year old in a red 850R estate..
Dave you should have gone down and shown them you don't need a turbo to go fast, perhaps a little McLaren sticker on the door ?? :) |

Charlie you know I see you about once a bloody week but you seem to have tunnel vision when you are driving!!! Next time you see a silver V70 madly flashing its lights at you in Sainsburys or outside where you work, wave!!!
Did anyone who gets the Surrey ad see the letter from a copper about the cruise? What he says is completly true, its just a shame that it has come down to this..people had fun in car parks away from the public road, so they shut them, now SURPRISE SURPRISE!! they have taken to the streets. And they do choose Ladymead - complete with its own 2 lane 1/4 mile strip :) |

Not a bad idea. A few 850/V70's with a bit of grunt lined up. It'll show that looks can be deceptive!

We have to be carfull with the meets..
If the law thinks you're "cruising" they can inpount the cars.. They send you letters and after so many you get done.. This just goes to show how ANTI-CAR this goverment is... I dont see this happening to the motorbike people!!! Go to box hill on a sunday afternoon. If that isnt crusing i dont know what is. I was watching a program last night that made boy racers look like spotty young kids who drink and drive... hhmmmmm Who's worst.. Ladz who race on an empty road at 11pm at night or women driver racing through the streets with a 4x4 with bull bars to get the school at 3.30pm... Rant over.. Gareth |

Whats this about impounding cars? Bloody hell. SO what do they do about Matlock Bath - you can't move there for bikes on a sunday in the summer - it's great!
Chat later Stu PS - Do you guys ever get up to anything across the puddle at all (europe puddle (NL), not america pond)? Triumphs manage to make it, so Volvo's should! I's the only thing stopping me from joining the club....... |
