  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

On my other beast when i refurbed the seats and added the bum warmers the car should have come with, i fitted a piece of 1/2" thick crushed foam underlay between the springs and the original cushion foam. It's covered in a sort of white mesh material and you can see it in this pic.



Believe it or not, that transformed the seats back to a new feeling again, helpd "plump out" the leather, gave more support and comfort and is a joy to sit in.

A very simple and cheap mod that does way more than you'd expect!

Sounds good, I might try that instead

The main issue I have with the seats is the good ol' lumbar support has collapsed - the rest of it I can fairly live with. They are the leather seats, although I much prefer the old grey cloth seats that came in the cheaper models (mines a GLE)

If you peel back the backrest cover, you should be able to find the lumbar support. I believe you can get repair kits from Skandix or alternatively, make your own. Someone in the 240 section has done that to great effect.
