Sensus Map Update - Pre "Globe" Button

Just had confirmation from Volvo customer services that the 2011 - 2014 system will have new maps released week 22 of 2020.

Is that about 6 weeks from now? I thought the new maps were due on the 29th of this month.

Thanks for the update. I have been checking for this for a few days as I wanted to do the update whilst the car was parked up and the battery on charge.

Week 22 is 25th May Spring Bank Holiday week.

Thanks for this, mine hasn't been updated since new (2012). How did you get the updates 'enabled,' as I believe a trip to the dealer is needed?

Yes you need the dealer to update the Sensus system on the car and you can then upload the updates. Cost about £100.

Must vary from dealer to dealer. Mine cost £64.92 at Volvo in Claytons in Mansfield

Is it time? Are we there yet?

Maps page doesn't appear to have been updated yet. Can't go far at the moment so don't really need new maps anyway.

Just checked the website and no update as yet it is still showing the 2018 update as the latest one.

According to my calendar we are at the end of week 22 so it is now overdue by my reckoning.

I'm also refreshing the map download website several times per day this week.
