It appears the Autotrader valuation was a bit too high.

Therefore, reduced to £11,450ono which is a good price given the condition, mileage and all the Volvo accessories and two sets of Alloys wheels that will go with the car.

Any buyer won’t be disappointed it’s probably one of the best examples available.
Thanks

I am begin to wonder if there is a private market anymore in car sales?

A lovely low mileage Volvo v70 in immaculate condition with full service history and a extras and accessories is not getting much attention.

My options are leave it go to a dealer to make a fortune or keep it. I was only selling as thinking of upgrading but if it doesn’t sell then maybe the decision is made..

Thanks to all those that have looked at it.

It looks lovely and if I had the cash I may well have had it,

Its too nice to go to a dealer i would keep it for sale if you can for a while if youre not in a rush, then PX as a last resort.

Best of luck

Just keep it I was toying with selling my 2012 V70 D5 215bhp. It's the newer style sensus dash only got 26k and full dealer history. Decided it would be better to keep as I never got much interest either. Also think the newer 4 bangers won't be as good either. Great sound when you give it a prod

Beautiful car & I really do hope you find a buyer.

Not to sound rude though, but the UK is in recession & in the midst of a pandemic. Maybe its not the best time? £11,500 isn't exactly pocket change either. Yes, its very reasonably priced & I'm sure its probably worth every penny, but at the same time, its a lot of money for a potential buyer to spend at once. Now I've said that, you're probably thinking that there's plenty going into dealerships buying brand new motors & there may well be, but they'll be financed to the roof or leased more than likely & not bought outright like your car would need to be (Cash sale, or BACS transfer for the full amount)... There's a big difference.

I'd hold onto it for a while longer personally & advertise it again for sale at a time when things are more stable shall we say... everything is up the wall at the moment. Trading it in would be a last resort, unless your mind is totally set on a newer vehicle & you just want rid of it ASAP. Alternatively, keep it up for sale, but I'd be inclined to say not to be disheartened if you're waiting for a while for someone to come along with a view to purchasing under the current circumstances.

Again, I'm not trying to be rude in any way, I'm just offering my opinion.

Have to agree with Kev. Hard to sell a car at this price privately. There won't be many people willing to part with over 11k cash. I'd hold on to it until things pick up

I have same 58 plate car. I bought it at 3 years old and 20k miles from my company (albeit at trade price) for the same money you are offering a nearly 9 year old car at. Ok the market has some inflation, but not that much.

As with anything the market sets the price, and something is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. If you are serious about selling, advertise it widely and be prepared to drop the price in increments until it sells.

You have a lovely car, but I think the price is too strong on a car approaching 9 years old.

My car is approaching 12 years old and very low miles too (60k). I don’t think I could flog it for more than £4K.
