Hi, I saw an '86 740 in our local scrapyard which was unbelievably rotten, certainly front end wise so I understand when you ask for good bodywork. I believe in '89 the rustproofing was improved which is why I chose a later one myself. My '90 760 Turbo is rust free and apart from ABS is no more complex. The V6 engine can be problematical prior to '89 revamp but it's only what I have read here.

hi I have a 760 gle 1982 that i was thinking of selling as we no longer have the time to look after it(or the money tbh). i can never find any info in the car as most seem to be allot younger so i was wondering what a sensible price to ask and accept would be and if it's not to much to ask where is the best place to advertise it.

It has always had volvo parts fitted and the engine is sound although their is damage to a rear arch when a stupid women tried to jump infront on a round about. dont want to be duped but dont wanna give it away iykwim

ok just read post to myself, think i must expect you all to be phsycic with such little info lol. i will try to get pics on asap (if i can figure it out), it has low milage (will confirm exact) leather interior original radio and everything works. what else would be needed!
