  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Quite. I'm aiming to get an extra oil service in April so will be speaking to FRF anyway to take them up on their "service pack" (minus the air filter, which I've just replaced) and a set of sparks - I don't know when they were last replaced so I would like the peace of mind. Local indie can't always get gen parts and certainly doesn't get them that cheap.

Im afraid your wrong here as in ur post its a 1.9d (you have no spark plugs in a diesel)

I did wonder if that might be the case (no "ignition" either) but didn't want to sound completely clueless! Amazed that it's actually the case though, thanks to Volvo2002 for almost sounding like the n00b I wanted to avoid being

Glad I didn't ring FRF and ask them for a set now

But you could change your glow plugs. Would help with starting! Thats if you use them. I know lots people that dont use theres/Know how to use them.
