Do you have any idea what the part No's are for Ph 1?

Cheers,

Phase 1 (1996-2000) S/V40 drop links are 200mm long
Volvo part number: 30884358
Meyle part number: 516 060 0014/HD

Phase 2 (2000-2004) S/V40 drop links are 267mm long
Volvo part number: 30884179
Meyle part number: HD 516 060 0009/HD

I will ask the mods to add this info in my guide as it will be easier for everyone to see

I have actually emailed the Meyle headoffice and asked them for the local distributor in my area and they emailed me back with the possibility of a group buy. So if there is enough interest, we might be able to get some for a better price. So let me know if you are interested. I am waiting for a reply from them and when I get it, I will post back here.

Also, if you think I have missed something or was not not clear or I was wrong, on this guide or any of my other guides, please let me know and I will ammend. I am not a professional and I am learning myself as I go

Changed one recently myself.

Stuck the front end on axle stands so the ARB lined up no probs and I didn't have to jack the wishbone

Just a suggestion but when I was changing my springs after breaking one, you have to remove the drop links to remove the strut. After I had to cut off my old drop links to get them off and fit new ones I decided to coat the thread and inner torx section with waxoil. I'm aware that as I fitted lowering springs they may not last long so thought about what I could do to make the job easier next time.
