Default S80 2004 2.0T original tyres?

Hi all,

I've just bought an S80 2.0T and it needs new tyres - 215/55 R16, by any chance does anyone know what the OE equipped tyres were? it's 2004. I'd like to get the original spec if I can afford them...

Cheers!

Default Tyres

Hi Ed

Welcome to the Forum

Tyres - Interesting Topic- Everybody has there own opinions of what is best, cost effective, lasts and is comfortable. Try the Search engine and be prepared for information overload

From memory the following is OEM spec:

Michelin, Continental, Pirelli.

Pays your money and make your choice.

Pirelli P6000 would appear to receive the most negative comments.

My choice is Michelin , Continental and Goodyear, with the latter being the best comprise between price and endurance.

From experience the tyre size of 205/55/16 will be significantly cheaper then the 215/55/16, due to the size of the market. The inside of your petrol flap will show what tyre sizes are suitable for your vehicle

Good luck in your search
