I took the oil out of my gearbox to change it then the key wouldn't turn don't know if this had anything to do with it. Have put new oil back in but key wont turn. Got it started by removing ing switch but won't come out of park (its a auto) so don't want to start to grind ing switch.

Didn't realise it was an auto, mine's a manual!

As I understand it you also have to disconnect the mechanical cable connection from the back of the ignition switch, then push in the inner cable in order to allow the gearshift to be shifted out of park and into driving gears.

Hope that helps!
