  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

If you've got the original sensor, I'd look for the Bosch part number on it and go to a good car parts shop and get one from Bosch, genuine part but you don't pay for the word VOLVO on the box.

I think it's already been said, don't be tempted by a cheap universal one, they just can't be relied on.

Actually, BOSCH themselves manufacture a 'universal' sensor that's worked perfectly for me in the past.

Fitting Guide

As you can see, they also come with a strange little box that helps you adapt the wiring. I've used the box in the past, but just soldered the connections directly inside it.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if this was the SAME part as the blue box, just without the specific connector and astronomical price.

Interesting to hear about the BOSCH universal sensor (might be useful for the wife's nissan), my aversion to 'universal' is to the anonymous ones on fleabay, -been there, done that, then bought a proper one.
