C70 T5 2000 Alarm / Central Locking Fob Required.
Hi,
No fob came with the car. Done the Dealer near £250 odd for a spare key and fob. It would appear that I need to buy a compatible used fob and find a specialist to code it up? Would any one have an idea of the coding cost element? Would anyone know if I am likely to have both an alarm and locking via the forthcoming fob? I have come across a Volvo Parts seller on ebay with two new fobs at reasonable cost, part number 9184795 for an S40, are these compatible? Lastley, I am assuming the fob is the 3 button shiney plasticy affair I remember from my S70 days, is there another more modern style, dare I say fob and key combined arrangement? Cheers for now. Russ. |
