Default Bi-Xenon: Changing from LHD to RHD

Just a tip on how to do the above on a 2015 model.

If you look in the in-car user guide, it shows (not tells!) you how to do this, but it is not clear in my view. I am an idiot, so here is my guide..!
  • Open bonnet.
  • Remove x2 silver pins on top of headlamp assembly - a firm tug needed on pins. Headlamp can be removed with minimal force.
  • Remove headlamp multi-plug by pressing down on the top of the multiplug while wriggling free. Headlamp can now be removed from car.
  • Remove rear waterproof headlamp cover firstly by unclipping the metal side spring and then depressing the x2 top-tabs. Remove cover
  • Inside you will see a large, central square silver box (I think this is the ignitor). The in-car manual shows you this box. Running over the top of the silver box is a black plastic arm or lever. The in-car manual also shows you this arm. What you need to do is pull the arm very gently back and it will reconfigure the headlamp assembly to RHD.

The manual does not tell you pull the arm; to me it was saying pull the silver box! To refit, just reverse the above.

After your first attempt, I suspect you can do it without undiong the multi-plug (3rd step), just rest the lamp assembly against your knee for a moment.

Your looking at 30-90 seconds for the above for each lamp.
