Vida help!
Hi,
Just purchased Vida Clone Version but can't seem to see how to use it for turning off headlights on a 2010 Volvo XC60. Have VDash included too but it wants payment in order to do it. Looking at previous forums some say it can be done using Vida but I can't work out how. Photo attached of screenshot |

Programmed values is blurred out so it may not be an option on your particular year.

Thanks, will try and play with it later but it does not look like the option is there to do it. Have got it on VDash but you have yo pay €39

It is useful to acknowledge the different purposes of the tabs on the Vehicle Communication screen:
- Parameters: Read off current values in real-time (but can't change them). E.g. if you select Exterior lighting > Left turn signal in that list, then press the "Add to List" button at the bottom, then it will appear in the table on the right and show you whether the light is on or off. - Activations: Perform one-time changes of the parameters, e.g. toggle the left turn signal on or off (useful for testing brake lights!) - Programmed values: Shows the current values of parameters that can be permanently reprogrammed, at least I think that's the intention. Not all values actually show here and it's not really very useful. - Advanced: This is where you can permanently reprogram values e.g. DRL settings as you seek. Basically, Parameters is where you do diagnosis, Activations is useful for testing, Advanced is for programming. So you will want the Advanced tab, then an option like "Programming control module" (at least that's what it called on P2). Double-click it and you'll get a popup that contains the actual programming options.
