Sensus Navigation blank screen issue

Hi, my father has just bought a XC60 2014 with a Sensus Navigation system.
He seems to be having trouble with the screen going blank while using the sat nav.

He gets the audio on the directions but the screen is blank until after he has performed the instruction when it decides flash back on then off!

He isnt the most tech savvey individual hence why im typing on this forum not him, but any help would be great.

Other have reported this before and AFAIR the fix involved a trip to the dealer (and a hefty bill)

Has he checked screen saver settings on/off I have it on V60

If this is the issue, I hope OP has a warranty on the used car purchase. If not, it might be one to consider rejecting in the 30-day period.

Thanks for your replies, i shall convey them on and see where we get too. Think it might be a main dealer visit - it has 12month warranty so he may as well use it.

Just be sure the navigation system is not an exclusion in the warranty !
