Default good/bad dealers/garages

so on the flip side of complementing good experiences with dealers/garages do you keep a $hit list of bad ones?

because i have a corker!

as you may or may not know i initially bought an ex cop 2012 v70 d5, looked great..
took it home to be inspected (yes i know i should have had it done before buying but the car was in brum and im in south wales)
my mechanic gave it a non invasive check said head gasket has gone as steel seal evidence in the engine bay plus white smoke.
took it back week later for a refund, refused and said let him repair and if still not happy will refund straight away.
car came back week and a half later sounding odd (it turns out its called knocking)
drove it to west wales so did around 150 miles all told, on way home it died
AA said timing was out and it was burning oil
dealer called and he said ill ring you back... 5 days later after not answering i rang from another number and he said sorry car left here fine no refund, and hung up..
currently with trading standards, bank dealing with chargeback

the name....
the first word is the name of a motorway in the west midlands and the 2nd bit is cars ltd...

ive left scathing reviews and told autotrader of the bad practice and they are contacting the dealer too to resolve it.

hindsight being what it is, online reviews everyone has been conned,

hindsight

Keith Price garages in the town have been established with the same staff for decades unlike Bristol

had a chat with a friend of mine who is a detective and although he said my problem is a civil not a criminal one the po po wont get involved

however he did say (he had similar issues when his wife bought from a dodgy dealer) that i should only buy a car on Credit card NOT debit card as you have more protection.

should i get the money back for my car i have to hold it for 6 months as they can appeal and get it back. which is an arse in itself!

CC's work differently

From my experience, I never buy a car from a place beggining with 'B'

Bolton
Bury
Bradford
Burnley
Birmingham
Blackpool.... Etc etc.

Sorry to offend whoever may live in one of those places, I live in Bolton and I'd never buy a car from here.

It's a joke amongst my friends and I because we've purchased some right lemons in the past and they all came from a place beginning with B ☺
