XC60 - Issue
Hi All,
Wonder if anyone can help - i have an XC60 - 7 years old and (touch wood) no issues until today. Tried to start the car and it seemed to try and then died. I am presuming that this is the battery but i got a load of weird warnings - temporarily turned off ESC, brake failure, that sort of thing. Is it likely to be the battery or are there any other things i should look out for? The car won't start so i'll have to get a mechanic in to look at it so wondered if i should be on the lookout for anything else? All help/advice gratefully received. |

If there’s any clicking when you try to start, it could be the starting motor. My guess, like you, would be the battery.

^^^^ what he said. If the battery is failing and they system voltage is too low, it can cause all sorts of error messages usually starting with traction control etc.
I’d have the battery checked first.
