I've never suffered rust on a Volvo before but I guess as long as it's not on every panel or there's nothing structural then it'd be easy to fix. Really interested in this if your potential buyer decides not to buy. I assume that as she's been sat on the drive for 9 months that there's no MOT so would need trailering away? Does she start and run OK (obviously aware of the Lambda light)? Basically I'm after a rolling project. Something in reasonable condition that I can get roadworthy fairly easily and then tackle less urgent maintenance issues as I go. The last thing I want is a car to break into bits. There seems to be more and more of these being stripped for parts and there's not enough of them on the road as it is. It'd be a shame to see another one go. If she doesn't sell let me know and I'll see if I can get hold of funds sooner rather than later, clear a space in the barn and see if I can go about transporting her. Regards Andy |
