Try setting the drive mode to economy, go up to 85 with cruise switched off and come off the throttle, the car will naturally coast down the hill with the transmission de-clutched from the wheels (or whatever an automatic does) and the engine at idle. If the vibration goes then it must be engine/transmission related. If not it's wheels/tyres/suspension I would have thought.

Ahh - so this is a known issue. I am partly relieved to hear that. Hopefully the dealer will be a able to make some modifications. I had already noticed how flimsy the rear wheel arch liner is, especially where it joins the underside of the bumper. I have been pondering how to strengthen this area thinking it could be flapping about at speed.

The latest balance was off the car, down to + / - 1 gram. Most tyre shops only go to the nearest 5g. No idea how the dealer did it but after two attempts I went elsewhere.

not sure if this might contribute, but I had a lot of similar problems with my 760 of old - (warped) brake discs turned out to be the problem.

If the wheels are previously balanced off the car and vibrations still remain, on-car balancing
may/can solve it or, if it's not the wheel/tyre, show the true cause of the problem.

Find a Garage with Hunter road force wheel balancer. It cured my previous cars problem.

I have the same issue on my MY19 V90 CC D4. It was much more pronounced when I had my winters on. In my case, I think it is very dependent on a couple of factors; engine speed and road surface. There are a couple of sections of the M8 motorway where the surface is less than smooth and it is on that where is it very pronounced. Coupled with the tyre noise it isn't very pleasant.

A few days ago I had a gentle run down the A68 to the borders with the Adaptive CC set to 60 and it was almost non-existent.

I do intend to take in to the dealers at some point in the next few weeks. I've also tried to find a local tyre fitter who uses Hunter RoadForce but the nearest is about 70 miles away.
