i have recently purcahsed a t5 estate m reg. when putting my foot down should the boost gauge go completely over to the right hand side, showing me that i am getting full boost from my turbo or will i only get full boost in sports mode ? i ask this because i had a ford puma pull away from me the other day and i couldn't keep up !! is there anything i should check for under the bonnet ?? loose pipe, split pipe ?? i have prevouisly had a saab 9000 aero which i thought the volvo would be on the same performance par, but at present seems to be falling quiet short !! any help appreciated. neil

It should go to the white zone, on the right of the gauge -- if it doesn't then you'll need some diagnostics done.

should this only happen when you are in sports mode or should it go into the white in both economy and sports ?
