Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a club contact for the 300 series, and if there are any planned events in the local ish area?(Hereford/Worcester/Shropshire)

FoggyJames is the 300 series register for the Owners Club.

He organises a 300 series meet around September but it is quite far away from us IIRC.

Retro rides is at Shelsley Walsh August 28th, plenty of Volvos and a few 300 series so yours would fit in well. It is the best show I have ever been to and I have been to a few haha.

Swedish day is May something that's 1.5 hours away I think but I missed it the last two years.

Yes you are correct I do own three, ranging from the good, the bad and the ugly, well four if you count the one I have for spares!

Hi Edward - welcome! Better late than never for me to be showing my face.

We only have one annual event dedicated to the 300 series at present, and that moves around the country. It was in Somerset last year, which means it'll probably be in the Midlands or North this year. I need to get on with planning that as a matter of urgency!

I'd be keen to get back to the situation we had circa 10 years ago, when there were several meets each year. I think people got busier, and we had a bit less time for organising things. We had a good day out driving down the A5 (in 2007?) from the Shrewsbury area to Llanberis, where we looked around the National Slate Museum. A repeat of that would be fun!
