And I've said that before, but.
Looking for advice please on security - Alarms, immobilisers etc, what do you think about removing the D Jet ECU when I park it?
Classic car insurance - Because I've spent a canny bit more than the current book values of these things.
Thanks very much.
David.

David;

Removing D-Jet ECU as a theft prevention is a bit elaborate, time-consuming and extensive...I think a discretely located switch to disable power to Fuel-Pump as well as Ignition would be preferred. Add to that a noisemaker type alarm to scare off would-be thieves, and that would be what I would recommend...plus this...no batteries necessary (but treats and occasional walkies!):

Cheers

I've used Footman James for cc insurance for 30 years and have never had a renewal quote beaten. Also includes full European RAC coverage and they gave me 10k miles for the price of 3k (although to be fair, am 58 and live in rural Suffolk where you are more likely to hit a horse than a car.)
