....Road Rage...Anyone Noticed or is it me?
Hi everyone!
This is a little off topic, put i couldn't help notice that in these past 3 weeks other road users have been..erm in kinder words..more agressive? Lots more people seem to be in a hurry and i've had quite a few people overtake me (more than normal) and quite a few more general a**holes also. i'm not a slow driver, i'd say average for accelerating put it this way, i'm 22 years old and have been driving for 4 1/2 years also with 4 years no claims, i stick to the speed limit at all times...My brother has also noticed this too (he drives also) and a friend of mine....Whats going on? |

Nothing to to do with grumpy old people. It's the crap driver standard and ability that is the problem, you know the ones that jump the lights on red. The ones that don't indicate, give way or look when setting off . Oh and just about every white van man that thinks he is the stig on the topgear track !!.

The number of people who drive at 40-45 in a 60... and then cruise through a 30 with kids playing on the street ... at 40! They get offended when you flash them as you overtake for doing 40 in a 60 limit. nobs |

Could be the colder weather coming in.
The English definitely drive too fast, at least in the South. I have a mate with a house in France and in the South East of England. He says he cant believe the difference each side of the ferry. They must be more cool over there. Noticing bad driving habits is a sign you are more aware of other road users. Be proud.

It would appear that the roads are full of p*t holes and a** holes.
totally agree with all of above, if the general driving public looked ahead and read the road in front of them and actually understand what 'HAZARD PERCEPTION' really means! accidents etc would be reduced and the roads would flow far more efficiently, not to mention being a safer place to drive/walk. (now stepping off my box - thank you for reading!) |
