Default SRS Airbag Issue / Question

Hi all,

My dads friend has a 2003 V40 with some sort of airbag/SRS issue. About 6 months ago it decided to throw the star light on so I plugged it into VIDA which said there is an issue with the drivers belt and the side curtain. Simple you would think, change out the parts and away you go. Alas no.

It's had a working module from Gatso's own V40 and still the issue continues. I've also brought some of the 2.2ohm resistors that can trick the system, still no.

My question to the people of the forum is what sort of voltage should you be getting through the wires? I'm thinking there must be some kind of wiring damage/breakdown somewhere. Sadly I moved onto a S60 so don't have a vehicle I could compare directly against.

Any help would be greatly recieved as the owner, being an older gentleman, doesn't like warning lights on the dash, but does love the car.
