Hi Lukas,
I've just sent a request through your website about my S50 D5 possible DIM problem. My issue is just the trip computer going blank but showing it's face every now and again plus the full beam light works intermittantly. Do you give the DIM a general once over to check for other potential probs? That would be re-assuring for the future if so.
Rich.
PS. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!

I was sceptical about this sending away malarky, having spoken to Lukasz I went with it, Lukasz fixed the problem with a ridiculously good turn around and he kept me informed throughout.

I am now wondering if I have another issue he can help me with, I drive an s60 d5, and It is going into limp mode and stating the usual "urgent engine service required" after trolling it seems this is the case with ETM but it seems the etm problem is only/mainly petrols?

any ideas?

Default DIM Failure?

My dashboard went blank yesterday (all illumination, dials to zero, etc) sometimes works again then goes dead. I have the SRS warning message too. Now if I press the trip counter reset button, it springs to life. From looking around the forum, It looks like the dreaded DIM failure.

Lukaz, can you help with this? If so where would I post to / arrange payment?

Incidently, does anyone know how I would lock the boot with the DIM out of the car?

Many Thanks,

Lukasz, thanks for repairing my DIM. I've fitted it today and it's working well.
