dead 480/440 heading to scrappy, running or not.
Looking for a un loved 480 thats going to the scrappy.
As cheap as possible and close as possible. Not bothered about any thing but wouldnt mind it being manual till I find out more info on the project in plan. Don't have to have mot, dont even have to have a engine lol, seriously. Please pm me if you have a dead one sitting around,or know of one. Literally any condition as I plan on strippin it down to the frame and rebuilding the entire thing. Ps may consider a 440 in same condition.

480
I have a 480 in need of some love, cambelt went in july and costs are too much to repair. It's been stuck on my drive ever since. It's peacock green , automatic and not done too many miles. If interested I'd be glad to help.

Reply to September Post - 440/480 wanted, any condition
I have only just seen your request for 440/480 in any condition. In case it is still of use, I have a 1996 440 GLT (1.8i). It is not/has not been used much (35,000 miles, most done on motorway). Exhaust has just gone (its about £500 to replace at kwik Fit) and MOT due end December. Its got a couple of bits of cosmetic damage (wing mirror was damaged whilst parked on road and a small bash in one wheel arch - both acquired whilst parked on street!). Apart from exhaust it drives fine. If of any interest, please let me know. The car is located in West London. Thanks. John

£500 for an exhaust!!!! OMG! surely you can find a better price than that somewhere near to where you live?
Don't scrap it for just that!

That's what I thought but so far drawing a blank for anywhere to do the job at all let alone with confidence of it meeting MOT standard. Any thoughts welcome otherwise its probably going to have to go.
Thanks for taking the time ot reply initially. |

To clarify, the location is west London. It usually gets MOT'd around Acton.
