Exclamation Vida problem solved

After my headache of multiple faults appearing on my XC70D5 2006 two days before MOT I have finally sorted out the problems for now and learnt something about Vida!
I couldn't get the Vida patch to work, I updated it, I edited it, I reloaded Vida, reloaded Windows!
In the end the fix was really simple....
When running the patch I ran it in administrator mode and noticed it was installing the patch in C\vida\user which is wrong, a two second edit to install the patch in the root, C\ and Vida ran first time.
Lesson learned and hopefully it avoids anybody else getting caught by it!

My car faults were caused by not using it over Christmas and a reluctor ring being dirty, the intercooler blowing its pipe off required Vida to clear the engine service required message, Torque couldn't do it.
Just took it up the road and its back on song, the five pot melody!
